In our country, Light Steel Structures and Prefabricated structures are frequently confused by our customers. However, Prefabricated Structure and Light Steel Structure are two different types of structures with serious systematic differences.
Prefabricated structures can also be applied on steel carcass, but they usually have ready-made panel roofs and walls consisting of composite roof and facade cladding material called Sandwich Panel (EPS) between H profiles. It is in the temporary structure type class. The advantageous features of such structures are that they can be constructed or disassembled again in a short time by planning their installation in advance, with low cost.
Steel structures; It is in the permanent housing class just like concrete structures. Many coating, insulation and accessory options can be applied on the carcass consisting of galvanized steel C profiles, depending on the project and preference. In Steel Construction Buildings, the main carrier is steel columns. Wall thicknesses, insulation and the visual of the structure may change according to customer requests.
In other words, Light Steel structures contain variable wall and insulation options like other types of permanent structures.
