Garages

Garages are structures designed to safely, securely, and orderly store vehicles and equipment. The light-gauge steel system offers the advantages of wide column spans and high ceilings in garage structures, maximizing vehicle maneuvering space while providing investors with significant economic benefits through short construction times and low foundation costs. From individual vehicle shelters to large-scale fleet garages, and from service workshops to multi-story parking facilities, garage structures of every scale and purpose can be realized using the light steel system.

Types of Light Steel Garages

Light steel garage structures can be designed in various forms depending on the intended use, vehicle type and capacity, and site conditions. Each garage project is designed independently, taking into account the unique requirements of the business or user:

Residential garages:

Small-scale structures with capacity for one or a few vehicles, built either integrated into a residential lot or as standalone structures

Commercial and fleet garages:

Large-capacity facilities where vehicles belonging to cargo, transportation, municipal, and corporate fleets are parked collectively

Service and maintenance garages:

Structures equipped with technical infrastructure for vehicle maintenance, repair, and inspection

Multi-story parking garages:

Multi-story parking structures built with light-gauge steel framing that offer high vehicle capacity in a limited space

Agricultural and heavy equipment garages:

High-ceilinged, wide-span structures designed to house tractors, heavy machinery, and large-volume vehicles

Individual light-gauge steel garages: These can be designed as part of a residential lot, as standalone structures within a garden, or as an integral component of a villa project. Available in various capacities ranging from single-vehicle to large family use, the exterior cladding, roof type, and door system are entirely determined by the client’s architectural preferences and compatibility with the existing structure.

On a commercial and institutional scale, structures with wide column spans and high ceilings are designed for large fleet owners such as cargo companies, transportation firms, and municipalities; door placement, internal corridor layout, and vehicle entry-exit flow are optimized during the design phase.

In vehicle service and maintenance facilities, vehicle lifting systems, oil and wastewater drainage lines, and ventilation infrastructure are integrated into the structure, while in urban parking projects, lightweight steel structures capable of rising up to eight stories stand out compared to reinforced concrete alternatives due to significantly lower foundation costs and shorter construction times.

For large-volume equipment such as tractors, combine harvesters, and construction machinery, flexible hangar structures equipped with high ceiling clearances and wide door systems, offering open or semi-open facade options, are preferred.

Advantages of Lightweight Steel Garage Structures

In garage investments, the structure’s service life, vehicle capacity, and operational efficiency are key factors. Light steel systems offer distinct advantages over reinforced concrete and heavy steel alternatives in all these criteria:

Wide column spans: 01

Column-free interior spaces provide maximum flexibility in vehicle layout and maneuvering area planning.

High ceilings: 02

Allows for the storage of large vehicles such as trucks, buses, and construction machinery, as well as the installation of crane systems.

Low foundation costs: 03

The structure’s lightweight design reduces foundation dimensions, thereby lowering total investment costs.

Quick commissioning: 04

Thanks to prefabricated production and dry assembly, the garage can be put into operation in a short time.

Modular expansion: 05

As the vehicle fleet grows, additional sections can be easily added to the existing structure.

Long lifespan and low maintenance: 06

Galvanized steel profiles provide long-term durability against the harsh conditions of the garage environment, such as exhaust fumes and humidity.
